I wanted to check out the "Debander" shader, so I set up my own personal profile instead of using a downloaded one. While flying "Dynamo", I just used ReShade while also tweaking my settings with nvidia Profile Inspector (The new, separated version of nvidia Inspector). So far this has caused no problems with my computer. I have left it in place with no profiles loaded so it remains IDLE. How well it works may be very system dependent. Were it not for the size of my screen, I would avoid SLI. Bear in mind, that my system is SLI equipped which causes a lot of graphics anomalies compared to single card systems.

Using the NVidea inspector application to tweak my cards resulted in an 80% increase in frame rate performance. The color enhancements, while not stunning were pleasant to my old eyes. Using Reshade caused an approximate 10% reduction in frame rate with a commensurate increase in stuttering and jitters when compared to unenhanced graphics processing. Having dedicated switches for split screen and individual shaders proved to be too much. I finally left the scroll lock key as the the default for switching all features like split screen viewing On and OFF. The hot key features for testing were unreliable. Kelso's instructions are the best I've found for getting the process done. which are unnecessary with ReShade Assistant.

It is so automatic that I found myself looking for more things to do like copying DLL's, etc. I finally got the new version, ReShade 2.0.2f1.7z installed properly. You can configure all the games that you want from the Reshade Assistant. There is no need, with the new Reshade Assistant, to edit or copy manually any Reshade configuration file to the game folder.

Select dxgi as the binary to update the Launcher profile, assign my preset, select save and confirm and you are done. Then with the Reshade Assistant you need to create a New Profile for Cliffs of Dover assigning my preset (CLoD) to Launcher.exe. In this folder are the configurations files to run my preset with Reshade. You need to access the Presets folder under the ReShade 2.0.2f1 folder just created: Uncompress the downloaded file in a folder of your liking.

Thanks fellas.Lewis, you need to download the latest version of Reshade that includes the Reshade Assistant. If anyone gets this before Kelso maybe they can do a breakdown of this. Kelso.I have had so many issues with SweetFX and Reshade.I have inserted into 3 different folders in there so far with no joy.the last time I did it my game wouldn't start.I am pretty sure I am not putting this in the right folderĬan you write me a breakdown of how you put this into the game folder properly?.It might be good for the new guys too.
